Kensington Football Club has been invited to participate in a tournament at the STAMFORD BRIDGE stadium of the prestigious London club
CHELSEA FC.
The tournament will take place on SUNDAY 5th JUNE 2022
The tournament is organized as follows:
The tournaments are played at this season 2021/22 age groups and all age group tournaments are played at 7-a-side.
You can bring squad of up to 14 players per team.
Prior to your first match you will have tunnel line up, with players names announced as they walk out on to the pitch.
Also, during one of the breaks between matches the team will have a guided tour of the home and away changing rooms.
At the end of the tournament all players are awarded with medals and certificates and the winning and runner up teams also receive trophies.
All teams play 5 matches of 12 minutes, so 60 minutes in total. This is made up of group and then finals matches.
No teams are knocked out, lower ranked teams from the groups simply play other lower ranked teams in their finals matches.
So every team will play the same amount of football.
The financial contribution is:
£ 100 per player.
OBJECTIVE OF THE TOURNAMENT
– We are making this tournament a goal and a flagship event for the Kensington Football Club.
It will allow the Coaching Team to prepare the children for this event with a training concept and a very precise roadmap.
In order to prepare for this event in good conditions and to allow children to express their potential more easily on the day of the tournament.
We will set up a 6-month Development program which will be organized each month as follows:
1) 3 or 4 training sessions / month + 1 friendly match on the last Saturday of the month.
(The training will be based mainly on the handling of the ball and the duels 1 against 1 with goalkeeper).
The matches on the principles of defense and simple attacks where children will first discover the oppositions against opponents in order to have the maximum number of lairs on the day of the tournament from 5th June 2022.
